Jonas Hassan Khemiri is a Swedish author, writer of five novels, six plays, and numerous plays, short stories and essays. His novels have been translated into over thirty other languages. His first novel, "One Eye Red" (Ett öga rött) (2003) was the winner of the Borås Tidning Award for best debut novel. His fourth, "Everything I Don’t Remember" (Allt jag inte minns) won Sweden's top literary accolade the August Prize. As a playwright, Khemiri has attracted critical acclaim in Europe, America and Asia. His first play "Invasion" hailed as, extremely intelligent, politically charged and deeply subversive explores prejudices concerning race and identity and has been translated and performed in Norway, New York, London, Germany, France and South Korea among others. Invasion won Khemiri the Village Voice Obie Award for playwriting.
